The scolarship award ceremony and lecture organized by Prof Adeniyi Foundation to mark the 3rd Annivasary of his transition took place at idanre on the 27th of sept 2013. It was well attended chaired by Dr Ademujimi - The Chief of Staff to the Governor of Ondo state. scolarship was awarded to 18 students from the 18 secondary schools in Idanreland while the 16 students who were on the 2012 scolarship were awarded certificates on the completion of their course The Three obas in idanreland were there to grace the occassion as Royal fathers with many distinguished guests, friends and students from the 18 secondary schools around Guest Speaker was Prof. Yemi Akinseye-George, SAN a legal practitioner and the first Senior Advocate of Nigeria from Idanreland who spoke on Levers of Advancement in Life and Career it was an enlightening, highly inspirational lecture which challenged the youth to overcome limitations, things they need to know and do consistently in order to improve their situation and get the result that they want in life, profession, career, marriage, ministry, etc Prof Akinseye- George explained the Six levels or stages of development in life and Profession: • Level 1- Struggle : ‘rising and falling’ • Level 2- Survival: ‘Living from hand to mouth’ • Level 3- Stability: ‘Enough to eat but not much to share. Tomorrow is bright’. • Level 4- Security: ‘Your money works for you.’ • Level 5- Significance: Larger freedom, overflow and abundance, socially responsible. And • Level 6- Succession: Legacy, solid inheritance and inter-generational flow. A challenge was thrown out that there is a need to have a Leadership and mentoring forum for Idanreland.
