Tibaba Adeniyi 12th October 2010

I've been one of the few blessed children in the world to have had all four of my grandparents throughout my childhood, and have been able to see them regularly. I thank God for that privilege, even more so now than ever. My Grandpa was always there, even if only over the phone sometimes. He would come over to England regularly to visit us, and we would come to Nigeria for the same reason. We came to to Nigeria recently for my Uncle Bayo's wedding, and I saw my Grandpa regularly then. Only now am I aware how lucky I was. I know how much I would have regretted it if we hadn't come then, so I'm glad we did. I've known my Grandpa all my life, and have always loved him dearly, and loved all the things he did that made him, well, him – including the way he always had at least 3 phones on him, if not more! I an definitely going to miss him. None of us were prepared for this, but the only way to get through this is not by dwelling on the place Grandpa has left, but the paradise he has gone to. Live forever in our hearts, Grandpa. Love, your granddaughter, Tibaba Sarah Ifeoluwa Adeniyi. xx These are the two pictures of my Grandpa that I have on my phone. Now I wish I had more.
