When the phone call came in on Thursday morning at about 7.30am on 30th Sept. 2010 that my friend and PP passed on Wednesday evening it was as if I was dreaming. I said to myself this is not a dream as I was up by 6.30am. I was confused more so I was not aware that he was on admission at UCH. My PP (Past President) was hard-working and always very punctual and time conscious. He gets to his office at Bodija on or before 8.00am everyday. Prof Adeniyi was a gentleman, soft spoken (though firm in his beliefs and convictions) he was an epitome of humility, love and service to mankind and devotion to God. He was a good Christian and one who feared God. You were a friend indeed to me as you almost call me at least once a week. I would miss your advise and suggestions. My PP to everything there is a season and a time. You lived a fulfilled life and now you are Free: Free from Love, Free from Hate Free from Hunger, Free from Thirst Free from Worries, Free from Anxiety Free from NEPA failure Free! Free!! Free!!! At Last. From the rising of the Sun unto its going down we will remember you. Blessed be the name of the Lord. Amen
